With 1650km of coastline, Angola is a paradise destination for surfers waiting to be explored. You will experience the famous African sunrises and sunsets, beautiful and uncrowded beaches and the incredible local food: fresh fish, seafood and exotic fruits are the highlights.
The natural parks are located within a short distance from the city's capital: Luanda. Kissama park and Cabo Ledo can offer amazing landscapes and a unique contact with the nature.
Beaches like Cabo Ledo (where you can see the turtles laying eggs) will make you daydream.
From north to south, you will find amazing natural wonders like Pedras Negras in Malange, the waterfalls of river Queve, Namibe's desert or the Tundavala canyon.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Angola's capital is a dynamic place to visit and one you are unlikely to forget. Although the crime and violence rates are lower than in other big cities like Rio de Janeiro or Johannesburg, we recommend some caution and extra care during the night, don't walk or ride alone.
As we move away from Luanda, you will find a completely different and slow-paced country, where you will meet humble people with an extraordinary good temper and who are eager to make their visitors feel at home.
When it comes to health, it is advised to check your vaccinations prior to traveling and take malaria prophylatic medication (if you seem fit) and don't forget insect repellents. If necssary, Angola has a good health care system with hospitals and clinics all over the country. Insurance is required.
